It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of the much loved and respected medium, poet and friend to North Oxford Church; Gordon Zealy; who transitioned to join his beloved wife Elsie in spirit on Tuesday 22nd June.

Gordon was an incredibly knowledgeable, spiritual yet humble man, devoted to working with spirit at the highest level, and only too happy to share his learning and experience. In his latter years, despite health issues that would have defeated many, Gordon remained dedicated to his spiritual work, and would be the first person to offer their services to anyone in need. Indeed, he has stepped in at North Oxford to cover last minute cancellation without a mention of the considerable effort it needed on his part. He was in life a truly inspiration man, who gave nothing but unconditional love and light to everyone he met.

Gordon leaves a considerable library of inspirational poetry, the legacy of a lifetime dedicated to working with spirit and sharing their love, healing and teachings. It was a privilege to know him and we wish him much love and gratitude as he begins the next chapter of life in spirit hand in hand with Elsie.

We also offer our love and deepest sympathy to Gordons brother Derek and his family, along with his dear friend Richard Marshall. Furthermore, we offer our deepest and most humble gratitude to Derek who very kindly gifted Gordons poetry collection to the North Oxford Church Library to be used as readings during our services.
